Police raid camp of notorious Rivers cult kingpin ‘General Worldwide’

Police operatives of Ahoada Division in Rivers on Saturday raided den of notorious cultists at Udebu community in Ahoada-East Local Government Area of the State led by one “General Worldwide”.
However, it was learnt that the notorious cult kingpin took advantage of his knowledge of the of the difficult terrain of the camp site to escape.
But Police operatives have vowed to hunt him down and his fleeing members anytime soon.
According to a credible source close to the Police, ‘General Worldwide’ and other members of his gang on on sighting the heavily armed policemen took to their heels.
However, items such as: juju chamber, motorcycle, generator, guns, ammunition,, military uniforms, cult insignias were recovered from the camp which was later destroyed by the police operatives.
In a related development, a gunman who went to rob a Point of Sale, POS, operator at New road, Ahoada on Saturday 8, July, 2023, has been arrested with a pistol recovered from him.
