Interior CS Kithure Kindiki says cult members have fled to Galana Kulalu, Tsavo national park

Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has revealed that a section of Controversial cult leader Paul Mackenzie’s followers holed up in Shakahola forest have fled towards Galana Kulalu and Tsavo National Park. Speaking in Malindi while overseeing the commencement of the second phase of postmortem examinations of an additional 129 bodies recovered from the Shakahola mass graves during the second phase of exhumations. Kindiki noted that one person died while receiving treatment. The victim is said to have refused to feed. The death raises the toll to 241 including 5 human skeletons that were recovered in the forest. Kindiki has also extended the dusk to dawn curfew at Chakama ranch.
