DPP Ingonga to determine criminal culpability of cult leader Mackenzie, associates next week

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 18-The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Renson Ingoga has disclosed that the prosecution team handling the Shakahola massacre case involving televangelist Paul Mackenzie and 18 co-accused will review the investigation files beginning next week.

Mackenzie and his co-accused are linked with the Shakahola cult that led to over 400 deaths with the State seeking to establish the extent of his activities which included secret mass grave burials of starved followers.

Ingonga said Wednesday that the process will commence on October 23 and run upto October 28
