DEKALB COUNTY, Georgia (HawaiiNewsNow) – A jury convicted a self-professed cult leader who once planned to settle down in Hawaii with his followers of multiple sex crimes in Georgia.
Officials say on March 1, Eligio Bishop was convicted of rape, false imprisonment, and posting revenge porn when a member of his group Carbon Nation tried to leave in 2022 in Georgia.
