Police foil cult initiation, arrest notorious cultist in Delta

Operatives of the Nigerian Police in Ogwashi Uku, Delta State Command, have raided a hideout along Isa road of the town and arrested a 40-year-old Godfrey Tietie a.k.a “Don Baby” of Oghara Town in Ethiope West LGA Delta State.
Operatives of the state Command’s Raiders squad led by DSP Akanya Agboga had stormed the hideout where suspected cultists were holding their initiation ceremony.
In a statement by the state police public relations officer, DSP Bright Edafe, on Monday, the suspects on sighting the police took to their heels in a different direction and escaped.Upon search of the premises, the statement added that one locally fabricated Beretta pistol and four rounds of live ammunition were recovered.
