Smallville’s Allison Mack Claims Co-Star Kristin Kreuk Introduced Her to Alleged Sex Cult NXIVM

Allison Mack is opening up about life after NXIVM in a new podcast and she brought it back to her beginnings with the alleged sex cult for episode one.
The 43-year-old former actress, who gained fame on Smallville, says her then co-star Kristin Kreuk is the person who introduced her to the group.
Allison kicked things off by chatting about her friendship with Kristin when they worked together.
She said, “We went to Syria and Turkey together, we went to Mongolia together, we went to Paris, and we had so much fun. We went to Paris multiple times together and just shopped and saw art and sat on the top of the Pompidou and had rosé and lived this kind of dream.”
Allison says she told Kristin about feeling “unsatisfied” with her life despite the success they had achieved.
“I was like, ‘I feel this odd emptiness, and it feels so wrong given the nature of my life.’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, me too,’” Allison said on the Allison After NXIVM podcast.
Allison says that Kristin went to some classes at NXIVM, which was described as a self-help organization.
Allison says that Kristin told her, “It’s the science of joy. It’s the most amazing thing. It’s made everything so much better in my life. You’ve got to do this.”
“It was all she could talk about. She was super excited about it,” Allison said.
Allison claims that Kristin invited her to a retreat, telling her, “They’re doing a weekend and I think you should do it. I think you’d really like it.”
“And I was like, ‘OK, if you think I should do it and I’ll like it, I’ll do it,” Allison said.
Back in 2018, Kristin spoke out to deny that she was ever involved in criminal activities with the group. She said at the time, “The accusations that I was in the ‘inner circle’ or recruited women as ‘sex slaves’ are blatantly false. During my time, I never experienced any illegal or nefarious activity.”
Allison was released from prison in 2023 after being sentenced to three years for her role in NXIVM. She plead guilty to a count of racketeering and a count of racketeering conspiracy
