A second pastor has come forward, accusing popular televangelist Bishop T.D. Jakes of decades-old sexual misconduct.
Richard Edwin Youngblood’s claims against the famed preacher were explained in a 6-page sworn affidavit attached to a voluminous motion to dismiss Jakes’ lawsuit against Youngblood’s brother, Duane Youngblood.
Jakes sued Duane Youngblood last November, after Duane accused Jakes of sexually abusing him when he was a teenager. The allegations were made during Duane Youngblood’s appearance on the “Larry Reid Live” YouTube talk show.
According to the affidavit by Duane’s brother, Richard Youngblood, Jakes also sexually assaulted him.
Richard Youngblood states in his affidavit that Jakes climbed into Youngblood’s bed when the two were sharing a hotel room in 1986. “He pressed his body against mine and asked, ‘Youngblood, do you feel that?’ He was referencing his erection that he was pressing against my backside,” the affidavit states.
