Most people at one point or another have been approached by a friend to attend a sales party for their new endeavor. Many of these parties are for Multi-Level Marketing groups, also known as MLMs. Emily Lynn Paulsen wrote about her own experience with an MLM in her book, “Hey Hun, Sales, Sisterhood, Supremacy, and the Other Lies Behind Multilevel Marketing.”

Great video interview with author of MLM book. She really nails what’s wrong with multi level marketing. Almost everyone involved loses money except for the predatory people at the top.
