MANILA — Jailed televangelist Apollo Quiboloy on Friday secured an extension of his medical furlough due to an infection from his dental implants.
Quiboloy’s lawyer Israelito Torreon requested the extension during the pre-trial proceedings for the pastor’s qualified human trafficking case at the Pasig Regional Trial Court 159.
The court allowed Quiboloy to be brought back to the Philippine Heart Center from Saturday, Nov. 23 to Wednesday, Nov. 27.
“We requested for an extension of medical furlough because there are matters that have to be addressed too with respect to his dental operation, which affected his jaw. Mayroong infection po kasi yung kaniyang dental implants,” Torreon said.
