Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult, had viewers gripped, as we heard the Wilking family air their concerns about their loved one, Miranda Derrick (and other dancers signed to 7M).

Melanie Wilking, and her parents Kelly and Dean, told viewers that after becoming involved in the Shekinah Church, run by pastor Robert Shinn (who also owns the talent management company 7M), Miranda became distant and began to cut the family off.

They also recalled how Miranda decided not to attend her grandfather’s funeral at the last minute, which they claimed was highly out of character, and made plain that they believe she is trapped in a cult.

Other former members of the Shekinah Church backed up that accusation too, and accused Shinn of coercion, extortion and sexual assault.

Now, Miranda herself has posted two Instagram Stories to firmly deny that she is in a cult and to give her side of the story in relation to her family. She also said that there is a legal case in process so she was restricted in what she able to see (Miranda did not confirm what the subject of the case she was referring to is).

“I cannot speak for anyone else, but myself. I love my Mom, Dad and Melanie and they will forever be a part of my life. The truth is, we just don’t see eye to eye at this time. I believe the documentary is a one-sided story,” her post began.

“I gave my life to Jesus Christ in 2020 and asked my family for some space in the very beginning to collect my thoughts and process my new walk I wanted to take with God.”
