BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Lori Vallow Daybell will once again be heading to trial, this time in Arizona.
Justin Lum with FOX10 reports that Prosecutors for Maricopa County are asking the judge for more time to bring her to trial by designating the case “complex.” Lori’s husband and co-defendant Chad Daybell is set to face trial himself here in Idaho, beginning on April 1, 2024. Prosecutors in Maricopa say that many of the same witnesses who will testify, and victims who will be present, are the same in both Chad’s trial in Idaho and Lori’s trial in Arizona.
Lori went to trial in Idaho earlier this year where she was found guilty of first degree murder of her children, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, and conspiracy to commit murder of Chad’s previous wife, Tammy Daybell. Lori was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
