The grieving family of two murdered children earned some reprieve today, as the grandmother of a boy allegedly murdered by ‘doomsday cult mum’ Lori Vallow Daybell was granted permission to represent the deceased child in court.
The long-awaited, high-profile trial of Vallow Daybell, 49, charged in three killings in what prosecutors say was a doomsday-focused plot, began this week.
JJ, also known as Joshua ‘JJ’ Vallow, 7, was one of two children found dead on Chad Daybell’s property in June 2020.
The child was diagnosed with autism and his disappearance in September 2019 was one of the main focuses of the investigation into his mother and stepfather.
His grandmother, Kay Woodcock, will represent him throughout Vallow’s trial, acting as his legal representative, or as the executor of his estate.
