‘Eunuch Maker’ leader of extreme cult who cut off body parts for pay-per-view threw a wobbly after he was jailed for life, proceeds of crime hearing is told

The ringleader of an extreme body modification cult threw a huge sulk with his legal team when he was jailed for life, a court heard.
Notorious ‘Eunuch Maker’ Marius Gustavson, 47, carried out extreme body modifications, including the removal of penises, testicles and legs and uploaded the footage to his ‘Eunuch Maker’ website.
He had 22,841 subscribers around the world and made nearly £300,000 in four years.
Gustavson, from Norway, kept a freezer full of men’s body parts and once cooked himself a testicle salad for lunch.
He froze his own leg off and had his penis removed, then claimed disability payments.
Gustavson was given a life sentence in May and must serve at least 22 years before he can be released.

Despite his guilt, Gustavson blamed his lawyers for having to spend the next two decades behind bars.
His barrister Rashvinder Panesar told the Old Bailey: ‘Understandably there was some turbulence with those defending him following his life sentence.’
Gustavson ceased contact with his legal team and was threatening to hire new lawyers to represent him at a confiscation hearing.
Prosecutors are attempting to claw back some of the money he made from the website, but Gustavson has so far not engaged with the process at all.
Mr Panesar said Gustavson, who is appealing his sentence, is now back in communication with his lawyers to dispute the amount of money he has to pay back.
‘The issue, in the main with Mr Gustavson’s case is one of double counting,’ Mr Panesar said.
Gustavson claims only £60,000 came from the website and the prosecution have inflated the figure they are trying to claim from him by counting some money twice.
