Bizarre Update On Utah Mom Who Kidnapped Daughter And Allegedly Joined Cult

A Utah woman was charged with kidnapping and conspiracy after she allegedly abducted her daughter and joined a cult in Missouri.
Kimberly Dell Davidson-Drolet, 53, allegedly planned the kidnapping for 14 months, according to newly released Utah federal court filings.
In January of 2023, she abducted the 4-year-old child from her home in Utah during a custody battle and brought her to a cult compound.
Davidson-Drolet was divorcing her husband Laurence Drolet prior to her disappearance. She sold her car, withdrew all of the money from her bank account and left her cell phone at home so she could not be tracked.
