A self-regulatory group has alerted state and federal authorities to noncompliant earnings claims and other issues in connection with a multilevel marketing firm known as ArdyssLife.
The Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC), which is an independent national advertising self-regulation program that monitors advertising and marketing claims in the direct selling industry, has notified the Federal Trade Commission and the Nevada Attorney General’s Office for possible enforcement action.
The DSSRC’s model is to attempt to reconcile its findings with brands first before notifying the authorities. That’s a similar business model to that of the National Advertising Division (NAD). Both groups are part of BBB National Programs.
The MLM is question is known as Reshaping and Nutritional Company LLC, doing business as ArdyssLife. It is a Las Vegas, Nevada-based MLM that sells a variety of dietary supplements, personal care and home care products and reshaping apparel.
