MATT Willis has opened up on joining the Scientology group at the height of his addiction battle with drugs and alcohol.
The Busted singer, who has famously battled with addiction throughout his life, has revealed how he became a member of the group whilst plagued with problems.
During his On The Mend podcast, Matt has revealed how he shelled out for course after course to understand the workings of the group but claims they attempted to turn him against TV star wife, Emma.
He suggested that his wife was used as a ‘reason’ for his problems.
Recalling his time affiliated with the group, he told how he was first approached on Regent Street or Oxford Street in London by a man in a suit.
Matt admitted he was heavily under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time.
However, he agreed to visit the Church of Scientology the following day.
Matt said: “I rocked up at this big building. And on the top of it, it said Church of Scientology.”
He went on: “I got through this other course and everything everything was pointing to some kind of like negative influence in my life that was draining me like some person.
“And I was asking questions, ‘who is that’?
