The investigation into the case of the buried babies in the yard of a house near Varaždin, Croatia, has begun. The parents of the two babies are being interrogated, said Darko Galić, deputy of the county state prosecutor.
Parents are suspected of child neglect with fatal consequences.

The Croatian Minister of the Interior, Davor Božinović, confirmed that the police learned about the crime through a tip.
