Super Bowl logo conspiracy theory officially debunked by Ravens’ loss

Well, this Super Bowl conspiracy theory is officially over.

The Chiefs’ AFC Championship game victory over the Ravens ended any validity to a theory that the Super Bowl LVIII logo had been revealing what teams would make the NFL’s championship game with the colors it featured.

This year’s logo features the colors purple and red, leading some tinfoil-hatted football fans to suspect the NFL was planning on making sure the 49ers and Ravens made it to the Super Bowl.

Where exactly the origins of this conspiracy theory came from is unclear, but X account @NFL_Memes had shared a photo in November that showed the alleged connection between the colors in the Super Bowl logo to the teams that had played in them, according to USA Today.
