BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The search for two missing Idaho teens, who are the subject of an Amber Alert, has expanded into Colorado and South Dakota.

Rachelle Fischer, 15, and Allen Fisher, 13, were last seen on the evening of Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Monteview, Idaho, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. The two teens are believed to be with members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FLDS).

The kids’ mother told police that she believed they were with their older sister and were attempting to return to the FLDS church.

The Uvalde Foundation for Kids has been working to help locate Rachelle and Allen. The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, founder & national director, Daniel Chapin, talks about the dangerous nature of these religious cults. Chapin, who as a youth had been brought into The Twelve Tribes Cult in Chattanooga, Tennessee & eventually rescued by family and friends, noted in the release, “This case hits home to me on a personal & a foundational level. There is a unique, particularly elusive form of psychological violence which we believe has been the force behind these two youth missing. We believe they have been abducted by this highly dangerous, religious group and we will go to every means possible to locate & bring them home safely.”

The search has expanded into Arizona, Colorado, and South Dakota, according to the Uvalde Foundation. There is a reward of $5,000 being offered by the foundation for the safe return of the teens.
