Michail Chkhikvishvili, a Georgian man who pleaded guilty to plotting to kill Jewish children in New York with poisoned candy, will be sentenced tomorrow morning in Brooklyn federal court.

Chkhikvishvili led an online neo-Nazi group called the Maniac Murder Cult that inspired violence around the world, including a school shooting in Tennessee.

He was arrested in Moldova but had worked in a Brooklyn rehabilitation facility and was employed by an Orthodox Jewish family to care for a family member. At one point, investigators found, he posted a picture of a purported victim and wrote that he was “paid to torture dying jew,” saying that if his patient died, he would accrue a “killstrike.”
