Kehlani’s Ex Javaughn Young-White Calls Out His Former Lawyer & Says He Didn’t Approve Of Custody Filing, Apologizes To Priest For Cult Accusations

Update #2 (Aug. 9, 2024): Kehlani’s ex Javaughn Young-White is still slamming his lawyer after he appeared to request custody of his and Kehlani’s daughter. In court docs filed earlier this week, Javaughn Young-White appeared to claim that Kehlani was in a religious cult and the cult leader was being accused of sexual assault. He said he was seeking custody for their daughter’s safety.
In a lengthy statement issued on Instagram Friday. (Aug. 9), Javaughn Young-White called out his now-former attorney for filing the documents with wording and language he didn’t approve of.
He said that before he filed, he received concerning information about Priest Neto and his church “by parties of priority.” He later learned that the people who told him had the information had their own grievances with the church.

He said although his attorney was aware of his concern, he never approved the accusations to be submitted in the filing. He suggested he is still going for custody and said,
“There are other concerns that encourage me to prioritize issues of custody and documentation.”
