ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI – Forty years ago, a 9-year-old Daniel Yarbough held his dying brother in his arms.
The 12-year-old was beaten so badly he couldn’t take a sip of water. The men at the camp put him in the back of a pickup truck and dropped him off at a South Haven hospital.
