A Glasgow therapist who rebuilt her life after surviving an emotionally abusive relationship has published a book to help others recognise signs of abuse and find the courage to heal.
Nicola Ball, founder of The Talking Rooms in Glasgow, has officially launched her new book, Death by a Thousand Cuts: How to Thrive After Narcissistic Abuse.
Years before becoming a cognitive behavioural therapist, Nicola found herself trapped in a relationship that slowly eroded her confidence, self-worth and sense of identity. But like many endurers of narcissistic abuse, she did not initially recognise what was happening.
