Alex Jones will soon have his media assets sold; what key names are lining up for a bid?

Blood has been in the water for months, and the sharks of business are beginning to circle around the sale of Alex Jones’ media empire, which includes Infowars and its parent company, Free Speech Systems.
Jones was forced to liquidate his media entities to pay a $1.5 billion judgment he owes the parents of the victims of the deadly 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting in compensatory and punitive damages for falsely accusing the grieving families of being paid actors. The fight for which buyers will sink their teeth into the conspiracy theorist’s assets is likely to be expensive and motivated by dueling ideologies that will determine the fate of the far right wing platform that Jones spent years creating.
According to the auction house’s website, when the company is eventually sold, the buyers will get Jones’ assets such as the Infowars’ brand name, production rights, archive library, social media accounts and customer lists. The sale also includes physical assets such as cameras and microphones. The auction house specifies that assets can be bought on a piece-by-piece basis or as package deals.
While the assets up for grabs are certainly financially valuable, the fight for them will more likely be driven by Inforwars’ cultural cachet and what returning or retiring the show could mean for the country’s broader media landscape.
One person who has expressed interest in buying Jones’ assets is right-wing personality Roger Stone, an ally of former President Donald Trump’s. Buzz started about a purchase after he posted a picture of himself on the Infowars set. In September, Stone posted on X that he was putting together an investor group to buy Infowars and hire Jones to run it.
