“Cult leader” Dave McKaY who leads a group called “Jesus Christians” (aka “Voice in the Desert”) just lost a defamation lawsuit in Melbourne, Australia.
McKay slandered the mother of one of his followers on YouTube. That mother sued him for defamation and she won.
McKay has been ordered by the court to pay $85,000 plus legal costs.
Not a good day for McKay.
