A viral TikTok trend called “Scientology speed running” involves people bursting into and quickly moving through properties linked to or owned by the Church of Scientology.
The trend began in the US, in cities such as Los Angeles and New York, and has since spread to the UK.
The Church of Scientology has issued a warning against this phenomenon.
It earlier denounced these incidents as trespassing, harassment, and disruption of religious facilities, responding by removing door handles and limiting public access to its buildings.
Former Scientologists have also expressed their opposition to the “speed running” trend.
