SAN DIEGO — Dozens of people gathered outside the Church of Scientology of San Diego on Saturday, where the organization says they attempted to break into the building.
A group of 40 to 50 people, many of them minors, gathered outside the building, located at 1330 Fourth Avenue in downtown San Diego. They arrived either on foot or by bicycle and attempted to force entry by kicking doors, striking windows and spitting on the building, according to a spokesperson with the Church of Scientology International. The group had also broken into a secured area, allegedly damaging the locks and a video camera.
