During an interview with progressive internet talk radio show The Majority Report, Heidecker told co-hosts Sam Seder and Emma Vigeland that he felt like he could only squeeze a limited amount of joy out of doing “Colbert Report-style spoof” of Infowars personality Alex Jones.
“If The Onion took over Infowars, it would be funny for about three months, and then it would just be over,” Heidecker said, adding, “There’s only so much runway you got with that kind of humor.”
