Andrew Tate faces overlapping criminal and civil allegations in Romania, the UK, and the US, with the newest public developments in March 2026 including a UK police review of older sex crime allegations and a London civil case set for June.

Latest Developments

British police said on Mar. 27, 2026, that they would take another look at allegations against Tate from 11 years ago, according to the New York Times. In the UK, four women are pursuing civil claims over alleged physical and sexual mistreatment, and the case is scheduled for trial in June 2026.

Tate has denied the allegations in court filings and public statements. Reuters reported in June 2025 that his lawyers said the sexual encounters were consensual and that the claims were untrue, according to the New York Times.

Romania Case

Romanian prosecutors charged Andrew and Tristan Tate in 2023 with rape, human trafficking, and forming a criminal group to sexually exploit women. The BBC said the indictment named seven alleged victims and added that other possible offenses, including money laundering and trafficking of minors, were still under investigation.

Reporting from Sky News said the Romania case centers on allegations that the brothers tricked seven women into sexual exploitation through a so-called “loverboy method.” Romanian authorities also opened a separate investigation involving minors, including allegations of trafficking in minors and sexual relations with a minor.
