2 charged with stealing more than $600,00 in fortunetelling scheme

Police say Gina Marks and Steve Nicklas of Jenkintown Psychic Visions told customers that they were cursed, and demanded huge sums of money and luxury items in order to cleanse them.

Two people were arrested this week and charged with stealing over $600,000 using a fortunetelling scheme in Montgomery County.

Gina Marie Marks and Steve Nicklas allegedly convinced customers they were cursed and demanded money and luxury items to lift the curses.

In one case, the alleged scam went on for nearly a year, officials said.
