Pastor of Jim Bakker’s Morningside Church Raped Multiple Children Over Decades, Women Allege

NBC News has released a massive investigation calling out the pastor of Jim Bakker’s Morningside Church for allegedly raping multiple children over several decades.
On Monday, the investigation by NBC News called “The Children’s Pastor” detailed five women’s allegations against Joseph Lyle Campbell, a former Assemblies of God (AOG) cleric who worked at churches across the South and Midwest.
Campbell, 67, has been the main pastor at disgraced televangelist Jim Bakker’s Morningside Church in the tourist destination of Branson, Missouri. Campbell was featured on an episode of The Jim Bakker Show just five months ago.
Campbell’s bio and Morningside Church’s webpage on Bakker’s Praise the Lord Network have been taken down.
An archived version of Campbell’s bio states that he is the “beloved Pastor at Morningside Church, gifted in a prophetic anointing of visions and dreams, and is called the ‘Pastor’ to Pastors all over the world.”
