Inside Justin Bieber’s shrinking inner circle amid his former best man’s fears over his ‘cult-like’ church

Justin Bieber and his longtime business partner, Ryan Good, have reportedly been estranged and not ‘spoken in over a year’ following a clash over religion.
The pair are said to have stopped speaking after Good, 41, left Bieber’s place of worship, Churchome in Beverly Hills.
On Tuesday, a source claimed to TMZ that Good felt Churchome was a cult-like and ‘he wanted out.’
The insider also alleged that the Sorry hitmaker, 31, getting close to the church’s pastor, Judah Smith, 46, was ‘a big factor in their separation.’
Tensions between Bieber and Good only intensified after ‘Justin added Judah to the Drew House board a few years ago, despite the fact Judah and Ryan, the brand’s creative director, don’t get along.’
The source described Bieber’s decision to add Smith to the board of his clothing line as ‘weird’ as his background is in ministry, not business.
Over the years, Bieber and Smith have been seen out together, including at the Super Bowl LVIII in 2024.
Although they are not talking, Good, who is the co-founder and creative director of Bieber’s fashion brand, is allegedly still ‘worried about Justin.’
Meanwhile, insiders close to Smith insist that the pastor ‘has no issue with Ryan and wishes him the best.’
They also noted that the pair have also not ‘spoken for about a year and Ryan was the one who distanced himself.’
Earlier this month, Bieber announced he no was ‘no longer involved’ with Drew House and urged fans not to support the brand anymore.
‘Drew House doesn’t represent me or my family or life,’ he wrote in a since-deleted post. ‘If your [sic] rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don’t waste ur money on Drew House.’
In January, he unfollowed, Good, who was the best man at his wedding to Hailey Bieber, Scooter Braun, longtime security chief Kenny Hamilton and Allison Kaye.
Still, Justin has remained close to Smith, who has grown the Churchome community tremendously over the past decade.
In a past interview with The Daily Beast, Smith described Justin as someone who with ‘the biggest heart in the whole world’ and that ‘forgives very easily.’
‘He believes the best very readily,’ the pastor added. ‘[We] talk all the time and pray a lot and think a lot together.’
One congregant of Churchome told The Hollywood Reporter, earlier this month, that ‘Judah and his wife are great people.’
Another source, who is allegedly familiar with Smith and Bieber, told the outlet that their relationship has become ‘a narcissistic pastor egging on a narcissistic artist, both fueled by Jesus, running around trying to do business.’
Bieber has sparked concern over the past few months due to his angry public outbursts and bizarre behavior on social media.
Another report from TMZ on Tuesday revealed that he’s starting a new venture after leaving Drew House, adding that sources paint a different picture of Bieber’s Drew House exit.
While reports claimed Bieber wanted out after Scooter Braun insisted on keeping David Bolno on the board after he was implicated (and later cleared) in the death of actress Laura Lozano, other sources claim that was not the case.
Ryan believed that Judah was ‘controlling’ Justin and while his beef was with Judah and not Justin, Bieber reportedly ‘ghosted’ Ryan.
While Bieber’s sources claim that he and Judah were outvoted on the board by Scooter, David and Ryan, Drew House sources contend Bieber never lost a vote.
Bieber’s new company – Skylrk – is reportedly offering the singer a fresh start and a new avenue into the fashion world.
Bieber announced his exit from Drew House in an Instagram story post that read, ‘”I Justin Bieber am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House doesn’t represent me or my family or life. If your rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don’t waste ur money on Drew House.’
Drew House sources claim that Bieber’s exit from the company was all part of the controlling church, and they still worry about his mental health.
